Gillespie set for decider
Jason Gillespie
Gillespie has been dogged by injuries
Australia have included fast bowler Jason Gillespie in their squad for the fourth and deciding Test against India starting in Sydney on Friday.

Gillespie broke down with a groin muscle strain during the second Test of the four-match series.

He was rested for the third Test, which Australia won by nine wickets on Tuesday to level the series at 1-1.

"Jason's progress is certainly encouraging," said Australia team physiotherapist Errol Alcott.

"He has undertaken a thorough rehabilitation programme since suffering the injury in Adelaide and has bowled off a full run a number of times now.

"Despite not showing any signs of pain, he will remain under daily review up until the Sydney Test."

Andy Bichel, who did not make the XI for the third Test, is also included as cover in a 13-man squad.

The Sydney contest will be Australia captain Steve Waugh's final Test.

"I'm really looking forward to it," he said. "But I want to think about the side and concentrate on the job that I have to do, both as a captain and as a batsman."

Australia squad:
Steve Waugh (capt), Justin Langer, Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting, Damien Martyn, Simon Katich, Adam Gilchrist, Andy Bichel, Brett Lee, Jason Gillespie, Stuart MacGill, Brad Williams, Nathan Bracken.
