Afzaal was the star man for Surrey
Usman Afzaal hit an unbeaten 159 as Surrey's match against Bangladesh petered out to a draw at The Oval.
The Tigers had declared on their overnight total of 372-6 and a lead of 54 but Afzaal formed a 225-run third-wicket stand with Laurie Evans (98).
Afzaal struck 23 fours and one six from 165 balls to help his side reach 313-3 when the skippers agreed to a draw.
The only wickets to fall on the third and final day were that of Evans, Arun Harinath (20) and Tom Lancefield (11).
Harinath was caught by Mushfiqur Rahim after flashing at a wide delivery from Mahbubul Alam, while teenager Lancefield, 19, was picked up by a substitute fielder at mid-wicket off a delivery from paceman Shahadat Hossain.
Evans was run out two short of his ton when he watched Afzaal's back-foot drive finger-tipped on to the stumps by spinner Mahmudullah.
Both sides eventually shook hands on a draw with Surrey 259 runs ahead.
Bangladesh play a short series against England starting at the end of the month, with the first match at Lord's beginning 27 May, before the second and final Test at Old Trafford from 4 June.
