Ashes: Typhoon Tyson blows for England in 1954-5

The pace of fast bowler Frank Tyson is instrumental in driving England to a 3-1 series win in Australia - their first series success Down Under for 22 years.

Few could have predicted that outcome after the First Test in Brisbane, which Australia won by an innings and 154 runs. The transformation was due largely to 25-year-old 'Typhoon' Tyson, who took 26 wickets in the next three Tests, including seven for 27 to help England win at Melbourne.

England were expertly led by Len Hutton, who is interviewed here by Alan McGilvray after the Ashes had been regained in Adelaide.

Commentators: Victor Richardson, Bernard Kerr, Johnny Moyes, Alan McGilvray
