Dawid Malan says Middlesex can be a success at the Champions League despite struggling to be competitive at the Stanford Series.
The Crusaders have lost both matches so far and face the All-stars on Thursday.
Malan told BBC London 94.9: "India is the big one, we have quite a lot of work to do in order to do well.
"We've got the toughest draw, but if we play to our potential, as we did in the Twenty20 cup, we are a match for any side and can get to the semi-finals."
Middlesex have been drawn alongside Victoria, the Titans and Chenna for the lucrative event in India.
But the English champions are set to be without England stars Andrew Strauss and Owais Shah, while new signing Neil Dexter and loaner Neil Carter may be ineligible.
Malan meanwhile, is hopeful that Middlesex can put the disappointment of defeat to Trinidad behind them and pick up their first win of the Stanford series in their final match.
"It would be disappointing if we didn't win a game, with the quality of players we have got in the team it would be very disappointing," he added.
"The Trinidad game was the worst feeling I've had in a long time, especially knowing if we had played to out full potential we could have beaten them quite easily."
