Norfolk beat Lincolnshire by four wickets at Grantham to take their place in the MCCA Trophy semi-finals.

Teenager Bud Bailey, released for the day by parent club Northants, took five wickets as the home side made 235-9.

Norfolk reached their target in the 46th over, county pro Trevor Ward's unbeaten 106 helping Norfolk to 238-6, Chris Borrett was next best with 53.

Norfolk now face a home semi-final against Devon on Sunday, 13 July at Manor Park, Horsford.

Speaking to BBC Radio Norfolk after the match, 19-year-old Bailey was pleased to return to minor counties cricket and make such an impact.

"I'm delighted to come back and play and get a five-for, especially on this sort of occasion.

"It's a good feeling to come back and play for Norfolk, win a game and get five wickets," he said.

Ward was also delighted, but not getting too carried away at the prospect of a Lord's final.

"It's a great reward to get there, but first we'll enjoy this and then prepare for the Devon game.

"They're a good side, a side we don't play very often, but we're at home and you've got to fancy your chances in a one-off game."
