Wardens up to third after Ord ton

Kenilworth Wardens have moved up to third in the Birmingham Premier League after a James Ord century helped them defeat Walmley.

Walmley made 225 before Ord hit 101 runs as Kenilworth eventually made 226 for 6, taking a four-wicket victory.

Fellow Premier League side Leamington are 10th after their draw draw with West Bromwich Dartmouth.

In Division One, Stratford's Brian May was dismissed for the first time this season as they drew with Old Hill.

Jason Jakeman took four wickets as Coventry & North Warwickshire beat Sutton Coldfield by 15 runs, they are now ninth in the table.

Meanwhile in the National Village Knockout Cup Fillongley are through to the last 32 after a comfortable victory over Earlswood.

There were draws for Berkswell, Studley and Coleshill but Bablake Old Boys lost at Lichfield.
