St Just and Paul stay unbeaten

St Just and Paul remain unbeaten after Saturday's games in the ECB Cornwall Premier League.

St Just thrashed Newquay by 117 runs to record their third successive maximum points haul as opener David Roberts hit 127 for the champions.

Second-placed Paul bowled bottom side Grampound out for 55 with Craig Osbourne taking four wickets for 12 as they went on to win by eight wickets.

Falmouth lost their first game of the season by three wickets to St Austell.

It was St Austell's first win of the season and sees them move up to fifth in the table.

Werrington are still looking for their first win of the season after they were beaten by 30 runs by Truro at Boscawen Park.
