The final of the ICC Intercontinental Cup between Ireland and Canada will take place at Chelmsford between Monday 21 May and Thursday 24 May.
Ireland topped their group in the competition after registering a very comprehensive win over the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi in February.
Eoin Morgan recorded the highest ever individual score by an Irish player with an innings of 209 not out.
His 360 partnership with Andre Botha was an Irish and competition record.
Earlier in the competition Ireland had beaten Namibia and drawn with Scotland, which was enough to top the group with 43 points from Scotland who ended up with 35.
Canada will contest its first final in the three-year history of the event, having beaten Bermuda and Kenya along the way.
The Canadians lost to the Netherlands but still managed to finish above the Dutch, who could not beat the other two teams in Group B.
