Former England and Surrey batsman Graham Roope has died, aged 60, while on holiday in Grenada.
Roope played 21 Tests between 1973 and 1978, averaging 30.71 with the bat. His highest score was a crucial 77 against Australia at The Oval in 1975.
But he was most famous for his slip fielding, with 603 catches in 403 first-class matches.
"Graham was a very fine batsman and an exceptional fielder," said his Surrey and England team-mate Geoff Arnold.
"He was particularly good in the slips where he took some of the most incredible catches."
Roope played for Surrey from 1966-82, helping them win the County Championship in 1971 and the Benson & Hedges Cup three years later.
