Ed Joyce will play for Middlesex against Ireland next summer

Ireland will face Middlesex in next year's C & G Trophy, which will be played in two groups instead of in a knockout format for the first time.
The match will see Adrian Birrell's side come up against Ed Joyce, who played a crucial part in Ireland's qualification for the 2007 World Cup.
The Irish will also play Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Glamorgan, Surrey, Essex, Kent, Sussex and Somerset.
Ireland will play four fixtures at home and five away in the Southern section.
Dates and venues for the games will be confirmed next week.
