Taibu: Zimbabwe's captain is well-versed in explaining defeats

Zimbabwe captain Tatenda Taibu says his young side needed to work hard on their basic cricketing skills if they are to mount a challenge in future Tests.
After a heavy 2-0 series defeat in South Africa, Taibu said: "We came here and have been tested but have a long way to go with our bat and ball skills.
"We have plenty of fight but we need our batsmen to score some big runs and we haven't been able to do that.
"With our bowlers on these wickets there's really no margin for error."

There's been a few rumours that I don't want to bowl but I love it

Monde Zondeki, an obvious choice for man of the match after his nine wickets in the match, had a superb return to South African colours.
In his only previous Test, in England in 2003, he had barely bowled after picking up an injury.
But his bowling on Sunday, when his figures of 6-39 gave him the best analysis recorded at Centurion, sped South Africa to a victory inside three days as Zimbabwe were hustled out for just 149 in less than 60 overs.
Zondeki said: "It was nice to finish a Test match for once and to get six wickets was a bonus.
"There was a little bit of pressure because it felt like my first Test match and I was quite nervous."
Jaques Kallis was named man of the series as much for his rejuvenated bowling as well as his ever-dependable batting.
The popular all-rounder said: "There's been a few rumours that I don't want to [bowl] but I love doing it so the more I can improve on it the better."
