Former captain Alec Stewart has told the England players to revel in their shock demolition of Australia in the Twenty20 game at The Rose Bowl.
But the veteran of seven Ashes series also warned Michael Vaughan's team not to read too much into the 100-run win.
"England were outstanding. They did everything right and the Australians were hammered," he told BBC Sport.
"We will rub it in and we have every right to enjoy it, but let's not get carried away - it's only Twenty20."
Stewart singled out the performances of Paul Collingwood and debutant Jon Lewis for particular praise.
"Collingwood was brilliant with the bat, ball and in the field and Lewis on debut - you can't ask for more," he said.

I just want to see England compete with the best side in the world

"Over the next few days, it will all be: 'Go on England, let's win the Ashes.' But realistically, this is a 20-over game."
Stewart warned against underestimating the top-ranked visitors.
"Australia have had a hiccup, but what happened after the match sums up them up," said the veteran of 133 Tests.
"They've come out to shake hands and have looked everyone in the eye as if to say: 'Well done, but this is just the start of a three-month tour.'
"Australia will start as favourite in the one-day series and the Ashes, but they will now know that we are a decent side, have good cricketers and that they are in a fight.
"There have been too many one-sided Ashes series. I just want to see England compete with the best side in the world."
