Bangladesh spinner reported
Abdur Razzaq
Razzaq made his international debut in the 2004 Asia Cup

Bangladesh spinner Abdur Razzaq has been reported by the International Cricket Council for having a suspect bowling action.

The left-armer, 22, was reported by umpires after Saturday's Asia Cup game between Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Razzaq has been referred to stage one of the ICC process and can continue to play while working with specialists.

But a team official said the bowler was unlikely to feature in the three remaining Asia Cup matches.

ICC Match Referee Roshan Mahanama said: "The umpires were of the opinion that the player's action needed to be looked at.

"It is in the best interests of the player that this is done at this early stage of his career."

Razzaq's action has been questioned before by local umpires in Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board will have to conduct a review of Razzaq's action and report back to the ICC within six weeks.

If a second report is lodged within 12 months, Razzaq's action will be reviewed by an ICC-appointed bowling review group.
