County Championship D1, Edgbaston (stumps): Warwickshire 358-6 v Surrey
Surrey's indifferent start to the season continued as Warwickshire racked up the runs at Edgbaston.
They were half-centuries for Jim Troughton, Jonathan Trott and Brad Hogg to leave them on 358-6 at the close.
Trott, an English-qualified South African, made an impressive start here, with an aggressive 61.
And Troughton did his confidence a power of good with 166-ball 77, although spinners Saqlain Mushtaq (3-77) and Ian Salisbury caused problems.
