Leicestershire down despite win
NCL D1, The Oval: Leicestershire 283-9 (45 overs) beat Surrey 115 (22 overs) by 168 runs

Leicestershire's 168-run victory over Surrey was not enough to save them from National League relegation.

Kent's win over Warwickshire condemned the Foxes to Division Two even though they bowled the champions out for 115.

The visitors hit 283-9 after a 183-run third-wicket stand between Darren Maddy (69) and Brad Hodge, plus unbeaten 43 from Vasbert Drakes.

There was double misery for travelling supporters, whose side have also been relegated in the County Championship.

Captain Phil DeFreitas took 5-40 and Charlie Dagnall captured three wickets but it was not enough for the Foxes.
