County Championship D2, Chester-le-Street, day two: Yorkshire 448; Durham 327
Steve Kirby did not take kindly to a beamer from Shoaib Akhtar

Craig White may not be able to bowl again this summer because of a side strain but he is determined to play a full part with the bat as Yorkshire try and win promotion.
White followed his 173 not out in their last Championship game against Derbyshire with an unbeaten 135, an innings which featured 24 boundaries.
The visitors added 108 to their overnight score before White ran out of partners, with Steve Kirby dismissed by Graham Bridge for 17 after a last wicket stand of 66.
Kirby had to be calmed down during his innings following a head-high full toss delivered by Pakistani paceman Shoaib Akhtar, who took 3-87.
But Durham felt the knock-on effect of Kirby's anger as he dismissed Jon Lewis and Gordon Muchall with the new ball and added the wickets of two tail-enders for figures of 4-93.
Michael Gough (54), Gray Pratt (51) and Bridge (50) all made half centuries but no-one was able to go on to play a major innings as Durham conceded a first innings lead of 121.
