National League D2, Edinburgh: Scotland 168-7 lost to Lancashire 170-0 by 10 wickets
Points: Lancashire 4, Scotland 0
Lancashire exacted emphatic revenge over Scotland and stormed to the top of the division with a hollow 10-wicket win in Edinburgh.
The Saltires counted Lancashire among their early-season scalps as they made a fine start to their debut season in the National League.
But that match seemed a distant memory as openers Mal Loye (88 off 92 balls) and Mark Chilton (69 off 83 balls) secured victory with 10 overs to spare in a match reduced to 39 overs by rain.
John Wood earlier starred with the ball as Scotland were held to a moderate total.
Change bowler Wood returned 4-22 and captured the prized scalp of India star Rahul Dravid, caught behind for 26.
While Lancashire's season gets better, Scotland's is firmly on the downgrade and they have now lost seven matches in a row.
