County Championship D2, Derby, day three: Yorkshire 444; Derbyshire 128 & 238-5 (at close)
Yorkshire were left eyeing an innings win at Derby despite dogged resistance from Mohammad Kaif.
Sidebottom wrapped up the tail on the third morning
Derbyshire were made to follow on after being bowled out for just 128 earlier in the day, a score which included a blazing 60 not out from number 10 Nathan Dumelow.
Ryan Sidebottom took the two remaining first-innings wickets to finish with the superb figures of 6-38.
Following-on 316 runs in arrears, the hosts lost Andrew Gait early on before Michael Di Venuto sparked a fightback.
The Australian eventually perished to Sidebottom for 74, leaving Kaif to carry on the fight with an unbeaten 76, which used up 199 deliveries.
The Indian star received good support from skipper Dominic Cork (26 not out), but at stumps Derbyshire were still 78 runs short of making Yorkshire bat again.
