National League D2, Taunton: Somerset 293-4 (35 overs) beat Nottinghamshire 265 all out by 49 runs
Somerset Sabres eased to a comfortable win, beating Nottinghamshire Outlaws by 49 runs at Taunton.
Chasing a revised target of 315 from 35 overs after two rain delays during the home side's innings, the Outlaws slumped to 265 all out.
Spin bowler Gareth Andrew, 20, took three wickets on his Somerset debut.
Earlier, Jamie Cox took just 90 balls over his 110, striking 12 fours and two sixes, sharing an opening stand of 131 with Carl Gazzard and a third-wicket partnership of 62 with James Bryant.
The 21-year-old Gazzard kept pace with the Tasmanian in his first National League match for the Sabres, taking 43 balls over his 58.
English-qualified South African Bryant kept the pace high after Cox was stumped off Nigel Clough, hitting seven boundaries in an unbeaten 56.
But once captain Jason Gallian (69) and Usman Afzaal (105) were out, the Outlaws crumbled and did not even come close to beating the Sabres.
