C&G Trophy 4th round, Leicester: Leicestershire 258-9 (50 overs) beat Nottinghamshire 159 all out (40.2 overs) by 99 runs
DeFreitas put Notts on the back foot with a dazzling, unbroken spell

Leicestershire booked a place in the quarter-finals after veteran paceman Phil DeFreitas rocked Notts with a spirited opening spell at Grace Road.
Set an achievable target, Notts never recovered after slumping from 23-0 to 62-5, although skipper Chris Cairns tried to turn things around with a swashbuckling 67.
Ex-England seamer DeFreitas opened the attack and bowled his 10 overs uninterrupted, finishing with the excellent figures of 3-20.
He had Gareth Clough and Usman Afzaal caught behind by Paul Nixon before removing the dangerous Kevin Pietersen, who was brilliantly caught low down at second slip by Darren Maddy.
Only four Nottinghamshire batsmen made it to double figures as the Leicestershire attack exploited the helpful conditions far better than the visitors had done.
Earlier, India Test opening batsman Virender Sehwag struck a speedy 56 after Leicestershire were sent in to bat.
Sehwag clobbered 10 fours and a six in his 51-ball knock to provide the hosts with a solid platform.
But they were unable to go on and post a really big score, with Gareth Clough chipping in with three wickets.
