Aussie women thrash England
One-day match, Lincoln: Australia Women 157-3 (39.3 overs) beat England Women 156-8 (50 overs) by 7 wickets

England lost by seven wickets to Australia in the fourth match of the World Series of Women's Cricket in Lincoln, New Zealand.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, England were restricted to 156 for eight in their 50 overs.

Claire Taylor top-scored with 35 while Clare Connor weighed in with 29, but England were their own worst enemies with four wickets falling to run-outs.

Australia picked off the modest total in just 39.3 overs, with Karen Rolton scoring an unbeaten 68 and Michelle Goszko 34 not out.

England went down by six wickets to India in their first match of the tournament while Australia had already beaten New Zealand by 63 runs.
