Kenroy Peters finished with 11 wickets in the match as West Indies U19s inflicted a 75-run defeat on England in the first Test at Grace Road.

Peters took five second innings wickets to dismiss for 225 with just 6.5 overs left in the match .

England had been set 301 to win the Test after a declaration on 265 for nine.

James Anderson had taken two wickets as the West Indies lost four for 11 runs in a hectic morning session and ended with five for 45 off 20 overs.

Kadeer Ali top-scored in England's innings with 67 and Matt Prior offered some resistance with a classy 51.

Ali hit 15 fours in his 104-ball stay before he was caught behind off Peters.

Prior faced 70 balls, with 10 fours, to add to his 57 in the first innings before he too fell to Peters but not before he and Gordon Muchall had shared a sixth-wicket stand of 81 in 20 overs.

Peters returned the figures of 11 for 88 in the match but will face a different England side next week.

Coaches Tim Boon and Graham Saville will not hold onto three players involved in the first Test with them being recalled by their counties.

Wicketkeeper Matthew Prior, batsman Nicky Peng and left-arm seamer Justin Bishop will return to their counties - Sussex, Durham and Essex respectively.
