Guernsey shooter Peter Jory says he is "honoured" to carry the island's flag at Sunday's opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Jory is competing in the full-bore shooting, starting on 9 October.

"I'm honoured to have been selected to represent the team, leading out the biggest team that Guernsey's ever had in its 40-year history," he said.

"I think as I walk out into the arena, with the crowd all around us, it will be a very uplifting experience."
