Froch lost his WBC super-middleweight title in April

Nottingham boxer Carl Froch's Super Six bout against Arthur Abraham has been rearranged for 27 November in Helsinki. On the same night, Andre Ward will face Andre Dirrell in the United States, although a venue has yet to be decided. Froch, 33, was forced to pull out of the initial 2 October date after he picked up a back injury last week and was advised to rest for three weeks. In April, he lost his WBC super-middleweight title after being outpointed by Denmark's Mikkel Kessler. In August, Kessler was forced to withdraw from his September fight against American Allan Green due to an eye injury.

Following Kessler's injury, Froch said that his fight against Abraham was for the WBC super-middleweight title. "There's me and Abraham left, and we're fighting. Andre Ward versus Andre Dirrell is the other semi. So in the final, you'll have a WBC-WBA unification fight. After the final, Kessler's got a shot at the WBC," stated Froch, who is nicknamed the Nottingham "Cobra". "Kessler will be what they call the 'marital' WBC champion, which means that Abraham and I are fighting for my old title."
