Amir Khan eyeing all-British fight with Ricky Hatton

WBA light-welterweight champion Amir Khan has refused to rule out an all-British super-fight with Ricky Hatton.

Bolton's Khan told BBC Radio Manchester that a fight against his local rival would make "business sense".

However, Hatton has not boxed since losing to Manny Pacquiao in June 2009 so it remains unlikely that any fight will happen in the near future.

"I'm not sure if Ricky has retired but if the fight did happen it would be huge," the 23-year-old Khan said.

Khan has instead turned his attention to defending his crown against another opponent in the UK at the end of the year.

"I'm looking at Juan Manuel Marquez, Marcos Maidana or Victor Ortiz in December," he added. "I always promised the fans that I'm going to bring big fights to England and that's what I'm hoping for."

Another name to enter Khan's radar is former undisputed welterweight champion Zab Judah.

New Yorker Judah, 32, has dropped back down to the 140lb weight class and is confident of cleaning up the division.

"Zab's a great fighter, he's tough and has a good style. The fight he fought recently wasn't his best but he won convincingly," said Khan. "That could definitely be a fight in the future for me."
