Barry's European bantamweight bronze medalist Andrew Selby faces Chinese star Jiawei Zhang in the Team GB v Rest of the World showdown in Cardiff.

Cardiff welterweight Fred Evans also faces a formidable challenge against 2009 US National champion Errol Spence.

The high-quality amateur event at the Cardiff International Arena on 30 July is part of a three-day boxing festival in the city that climaxes on 31 July.

On that night the WBC hosts its star-studded Night of Champions event.

Over 100 current and former world champions are expected at the CIA to conclude a weekend that opens on 29 July with the premiere of the movie of the life of Welsh great Howard Winstone, "Risen".

At the amateur event, leading members of the Chinese national team will fight alongside Olympic medal hopefuls from Germany, Ireland, Kazakhstan and the United States as part of the Rest of the World team against Britain's Olympic medal contenders.

Bournemouth's European silver medalist Iain Weaver is being lined up to take on the Chinese number two Juan Tan, with Tom Stalker, Bradley Saunders, Anthony Ogogo, Obed Mbwakongo and Amin Isa also expecting high-profile bouts.

Three women's fights are also planned, the opposition for Lucy O' Connor, Amanda Coulson and Savannah Marshall yet to be confirmed.

"It will be a great honour and pleasure for so many previous Olympic champions who later became world champions and household names to offer their advice and support to the champions of tomorrow," said WBC president Jose Sulaiman.
