Kickboxer wins heavyweight fight

Jersey kickboxer Liam McGeary won the heavyweight category at the Kickboxing Fight Show in Andover last weekend.

McGeary won the trophy with a first round knock out of Kieron Vance at the Wolversdene Club in Andover.

McGreary's coach Mick McCue, from the Jersey Kickboxing Club, said the fighter had demonstrated exemplary form during the bout.

"Liam showed his experience and technical ability to easily outclass his opponent," he said.
