Cox has won all 12 fights of his professional career
Swindon boxer Jamie Cox says he has no concerns about moving up to light-middleweight for his latest fight.
Cox, 23, faces Manoocha Salari in Liverpool on Friday at the higher weight and expects a win to earn him a shot at the British welterweight title.
The Commonwealth Games gold medallist told BBC Wiltshire: "Instead of hitting the weight and then hitting the weight again I slowly bring the weight down.
"I don't expect too much difference in power but we'll see."
If he wins Cox is set to face either Kell Brook or Michael Jennings for the British welterweight crown.
That fight could be as early as 5 December.
The Swindon fighter said: "Kell's got all the limelight on him. I'd love to take it from him and show what I can do."
