Broadhurst was rarely troubled in his second title defence
Don Broadhurst stopped Asamoah Wilson of Ghana in the sixth round to retain his Commonwealth super-flyweight title.
The Birmingham fighter shrugged off an early nose injury to break his rival's resolve with a display of precision punching at Wolverhampton's Civic Hall.
With Wilson shaken by some telling blows to the head, the referee stepped in to spare him further punishment.
Broadhurst, who won gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, is now targeting British champion Lee Haskins.
He went the distance when winning the Commonwealth title against Isaac Quaye last October before beating Isaac Owusu in the 11th in his first defence in February.
