Dawson postpones Tarver rematch

Dawson is unbeaten in 28 fights

Light-heavyweight world champion Chad Dawson's rematch with Antonio Tarver has been postponed after he injured his hand during training this week.

The 26-year-old American was scheduled to fight Tarver on 14 March at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

The fight was a rematch of their bout in October which Dawson won with a unanimous decision to win the IBF belt.

Dawson had been keen to fight Joe Calzaghe, before the Welshman announced his retirement earlier in February.
