Hatton v Mayweather: Round 2
Referee Joe Cortez attempts to separate Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather
Punches landed/thrown:
Hatton: 6/30 - 20%
Mayweather: 7/27 - 26%

Hatton enjoys a better second round but he is still unable to bring the fight inside as Mayweather keeps him at arm's length.

There's very little between them but Hatton knows that he must take the fight to his opponent in these early rounds if he hopes to claim the title.

Referee Joe Cortez steps in and breaks the fight up on several occasions and that is a worrying sign for the Hitman, who wants to stand toe-to-toe with Mayweather and slug it out.
