German Arthur Abraham has announced he will defend his world IBF middleweight title against Britain's Wayne Elcock on 8 December in Basle, Switzerland.
Abraham is undefeated over 24 professional fights
Abraham successfully defended his title for the sixth successive fight against compatriot Khoren Gevor in August.
Elcock enhanced his reputation thanks to a unanimous points win over Howard Eastman last month to claim the British middleweight title.
"It will be a hard fight against a strong opponent," said Abraham.
Birmingham-based Elcock earned his 18th professional victory when he beat the 'Battersea Bomber' after 12 rounds in Coventry.
"Elcock last defeated a strong Howard Eastman so there is absolutely no reason to underestimate him," said the Armenian-born Abraham, nicknamed 'King Arthur'.
"I have been working hard in practice and I promise not to disappoint the Swiss boxing fans."
