Sydney Olympics boxing silver medallist Ricardo Williams has been sentenced to three years in prison for his part in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
Ohio prosecutors said he and two other men tried to pick up a package of the drug shipped to Cincinnati.
Welterweight Williams, 23, turned pro after the 2000 Games and plans to keep boxing when released from prison.
He was also fined $5,000 and given five years' probation. He will begin serving his sentence on 13 June.
Williams, who pleaded guilty on 18 January, could have been jailed for 10 years or more.
However, the judge was allowed to give a sentence below the mandatory minimum because Williams had no previous criminal record.
