Tyson to face trial for assault
Mike Tyson
Tyson is no stranger to the law
A judge has ordered Mike Tyson to return to Brazil in March to face trial for allegedly assaulting a cameraman in a Sao Paulo nightclub.

If found guilty, the former world heavyweight champion could be fined or sentenced to community service.

Cameraman Carlos Eduardo da Silva also plans to sue Tyson for damages in United States courts.

Silva alleges that Tyson broke his camera on Thursday morning and hit him on the head with camera equipment.

Tyson acknowledged breaking the camera and destroying the camera's tape after asking Silva to stop filming, but denied pushing or hitting the cameraman, police said.

Tyson went to Sao Paulo following a trip to Argentina, where he was interviewed by Diego Maradona on his television chat show.

He arrived at the courthouse on Friday wearing a gift from Maradona - an Argentine football shirt - and was jeered by the crowd.

The 39-year-old announced his retirement from boxing after losing to Ireland's Kevin McBride in June.
