Light heavyweight prospect Andre Ward will make his professional debut on the undercard of Glen Johnson's 18 December showdown against Antonio Tarver.
The USA's only Olympic gold medallist is partly-promoted by Roy Jones Jr and will fight at the Staples Center in LA.
"It is a thrill to have the great Roy Jones as part of my promotional team - he's done it all," said Ward.
"I just want to carry the torch and put on a spectacular performance for the fans. I don't care who I fight."
