Hasim Rahman will face David Tua for the third time in December in a WBA heavyweight title fight.
The pair will meet in Atlantic City on 13 December on a card that features a middleweight title fight
between Bernard Hopkins and William Joppy and a welterweight title fight between Ricardo Mayorga and Cory
Spinks.
The title was vacated when Roy Jones Jr. decided to return to the light-heavyweight division to face WBC and IBF champion Antonio Tarver on 8 November.
Jones claimed the title with a victory over John Ruiz on 1 March.
Tua knocked out Rahman in the 10th round when they first met in Miami in 1998, and they fought out a draw in Philadelphia in March.
The WBC heavyweight crown is held by Britain's Lennox Lewis and American Chris Byrd holds the IBF version of the title.
