Magee in knockout vow
Eamonn Magee challenges Ricky Hatton in Manchester for the WBU light-welterweight crown
Magee believes he will knock out champion Hatton
Ulsterman Eamonn Magee has insisted he will knock out WBU light-welterweight champion Ricky Hatton in Saturday's fight in Manchester.

Magee insists he is relishing the underdog tag and intends to make the bookmakers - and many experts - eat their words when he challenges Hatton at Manchester's MEN Arena.

The Irishman arrived in Manchester on Tuesday having finished off his training in Belfast on Monday.

"He makes so many mistakes I can't see how I will not expose him," said Magee, who calls himself the Terminator.

"I've never been knocked down, never been stopped - how's a boy like him going to do that?

The world title is coming back to Belfast

"But I know that he doesn't hit as hard as I do and he's in for a shock.

"In all his fights up to now he's been dictating the fight with nobody hitting back.

"That's all going to change on Saturday night.

"It seems that I'm the underdog with everyone and that's alright - it will just make the win even sweeter.

"He's the favourite because we're fighting in his home town but I couldn't care less where the fight is - even if it was in his own front room.

"The result will be the same - the world title is coming back to Belfast."
