Jubilant Lewis wants Tyson
Hasim Rahman is knocked out by Lennox Lewis
With Rahman beaten, will Tyson be next for Lewis?
Lennox Lewis has set his sights on a heavyweight showdown against Mike Tyson.

The Briton regained the WBC and IBF heavyweight titles with a fourth-round knockout of Hasim Rahman.

And he said after the Las Vegas win that he wanted to fight "Iron Mike", in what would certainly be a big-money bout.

"I want Tyson - definitely. I've been waiting for him since the Evander Holyfield fight," Lewis proclaimed.

He needs a defining fight in his career if he really wants to get alongside the legends
Frank Maloney

But he qualified his statement at a news conference after the fight, insisting he would not go looking for the former world champion.

"I'm not chasing Tyson - I'm the champion, so show me the money.

"There are other guys out there who deserve a chance."

Former manager Frank Maloney believes Tyson is the only fight 36-year-old Lewis should now take.

"He needs a defining fight in his career if he really wants to get alongside the legends and rank up there with the greats.

"If I was still advising Lennox Lewis, I would sit down with the man and say, 'we'll give ourselves this amount of time to get the Tyson fight.

"If he doesn't get that fight, then retire at the top.

"But the Tyson fight is the only fight he should consider taking."

Tyson is hoping to cap his latest comeback with a world title, but he may be reluctant to take on a risky fight with Lewis, especially after seeing the Briton in such fine form.
