Tyson accused of sexual assault
![]() No charges have been made against Mike Tyson
Mike Tyson's Las Vegas home has been searched by police after a sexual assault allegation was made against the former world heavyweight champion.
No charges have been filed against Tyson but police spokesman Tom Monahan said the action was taken in connection with a recent sexual assault in Nevada. "He is the one identified by the accuser," said Monahan. "This was only one step in a very lengthy investigation. No arrests are imminent." In training No details about the allegation or Tyson's accuser were made available, because the investigation is ongoing. It is the second sexual assault allegation involving Tyson this year. In August, prosecutors said there was not enough evidence to charge Tyson after a California woman accused him of rape. Tyson is in training in Las Vegas for his 13 October fight in Copenhagen against Danish boxer Brian Nielsen. His publicist said he was not aware of the police search and had no comment.
