Feofanova vaults to glory
Svetlana Feofanova
Feofanova was too good for her rivals
Russia's Svetlana Feofanova beat Germany's Annika Becker to win gold in the women's pole vault.

Double defending champion and reigning Olympic champion Stacy Dragila of the United States was out of the medals in fourth place.

Feofanova cleared 4.75m to equal the championship mark of Dragila from two years ago while Becker had 4.70m and world record holder Yelena Isinbayeva cleared 4.65m
