Waddington is the first man to win four consecutive Parish Walk titles
Jock Waddington has become the first man to win four consecutive Parish Walk titles, after his victory in Saturday's race in the Isle of Man.
Waddington completed the 85-mile race in 15 hours one minute and 48 seconds to set the second quickest time ever.
"I'm really chuffed to get the fourth title, it was a tough race and I am really happy," he said.
The Douglas walker finished almost 14 minutes ahead of Vinny Lynch with Richard Gerrard in third.
Maureen Mofatt was the quickest woman home, finishing 18th overall in a time of 18:19:21.
The 24-hour time limit for the race was achieved by 158 walkers.
