Usain Bolt's coach Glen Mills believes the Olympic and world 100m and 200m champion could reach his peak for 2012 when the London Olympics take place.

Bolt, 24, has returned to training after back and Achilles injuries cut short his 2010 season and forced him to miss the Commonwealth Games.

"If the conditions are right I think he can continue to improve," said Mills.

"I think that he has another two years of development still in him before he probably peaks," he told BBC 5 live.

The double world record holder ended his season in August after losing to Tyson Gay over 100m in Stockholm - his first defeat in two years.

But after a break he is now focussed on retaining his 100m and 200m titles in the 2011 World Championships in Korea, which start in late August.

And Mills believes that the 2012 London Olympics could be another high point for Bolt.

"Peaking in 2012 is what we are hoping for and some warm Jamaican weather in London would go far to help us to achieve what we want," he added.
