Manx runner Lloyd Taggart finished the 2010 fell running season with victory in the Dunnerdale fell race in the Lake District on Saturday.

Taggart who claimed the English and British Over-40 Veterans titles this year, won the eight mile race by over one minute from Danny Hope.

"It's a great event in a stunning location and I was really happy with my performance," said Taggart.

The Black Combe race includes over 3,400 feet of ascent.
