Ethiopian running legend Kenenisa Bekele has answered your questions for BBC Sport
Ethiopian running legend Kenenisa Bekele took time out from training in the lead-up to Sunday's Bupa Great Edinburgh International Cross Country to answer your questions.
After working through an overwhelming amount of emails from around the world, we asked the 27-year-old about a wide range of issues, from the chances of him racing Usain Bolt, to how he felt being confronted by a Lion during training.
Thank you to everyone whose questions we used, and similarly a huge thank you to those who sent questions which, because of time limitations, we were unable to put to Bekele.
Below is a list of the questions we put to the 5,000m and 10,000m Olympic and world champion and world record holder:
What are your targets for 2010?
Abdalla Toure, Dubai
How likely do you think it is that you could break either the 5,000m or 10,000m records in the future?
Lee Broadley, England
Could we see you, Haile Gebrselassie, and Sammy Wanjiru race a marathon together in London at the 2012 Olympics?
Ross Nickerson, USA
I heard that you want to meet Usain Bolt over 800m, have you officially asked him? Do you think you could beat him?
Do you want to be called the Usain Bolt of long distance or should Bolt to be called the Kenenisa Bekele of short distance?!
Fekahmed Negash, Ethiopia
Which club is your favourite football club in Ethiopia, England and Spain?
Mengistu Endris, Ethiopia
On average, how many miles per week do you train and at what pace?
Do you have a special pre-race diet? What do you usually eat the day before the race?
You always seem to be able to finish any race very fast. What are the best times you have recorded over 400m, 800m and 1500m?
Clive Ridley, UK
I heard you and your brother once encountered a lion in training - What did you do?
