BBC Sport's athletics pundits

With the World Championships in Berlin in August, British athletes are set for an action-packed season.

They will already have an eye on 2012, with the chance to take the limelight at the Olympic Games on home soil in London.

And there are pressing concerns as they need to impress their new head coach, the hard-nosed Charles van Commenee.

Speaking to Mark Ashenden, former triple jumper Jonathan Edwards, 400m runner Katharine Merry, sprinter Darren Campbell and javelin star Steve Backley - all BBC Sport athletics pundits - give their thoughts on who could be grabbing the headlines in 2009.
