Christine Ohuruogu
Ohuruogu is also expected to challenge at London 2012

Olympic 400m gold medal winner Christine Ohuruogu is to compete at the Woodie's DIY Irish Indoor Championships at the Odyssey Arena in February.

The 24-year-old will be the first track Olympic champion to compete in Northern Ireland since Linford Christie raced at the Mary Peters Track in August 1992.

Ohuruogu will compete in the 60m and 200m races in Belfast, including heats.

Irish Olympian Paul Hession has also announced that he will compete at the indoor event on 7 and 8 February.

Meanwhile, Jessica Ennis has made a welcome comeback to competition after missing most of 2008 through injury. The 22-year-old broke her right ankle last June.

Britain's heptathlete was taking part at the Northern Athletics Indoor Championships in Sheffield on 17-18 January.
