Ohuruogu to run at Crystal Palace

Ohuruogu is the world and Commonwealth champion

Christine Ohuruogu will prepare for the Beijing Olympics by running at the London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace.

The event takes place on 25-26 July, with the Londoner due to run in the 400m race on the first day.

The Commonwealth and world champion is looking forward to competing and she feels it will put her in good stead.

The 24-year-old said: "Nothing will prepare me better for Beijing than a warm-up at the Aviva London Grand Prix in front of a home crowd."
