The UK Championships and Olympic trials will return to Birmingham in 2008 after four years in Manchester.
The trials will take place at Alexander Stadium on 11-13 July, a week before the squad for the Beijing Olympics is announced.
"We are delighted to be bringing the trials back to Birmingham," said UK Athletics chief executive Niels de Vos.
"It's ideally placed to ensure as many athletes as possible can compete and the public can see a great event."
