Ennis won Commonwealth Games bronze in 2006

British heptathlete Jessica Ennis started the outdoor season in superb style at an international combined events meetings in Desenzano, Italy.
She cleared 1.95m to equal the British high jump record set 25 years ago by Diana Davies and equalled in 2001 by Susan Moncrieff.
The Sheffield University student also ran her fastest ever 100m hurdles, clocking a time of 13.12 seconds.
She then ran the 200m in 23.68 seconds to set her second-quickest 200m time.
