Follow the 2005 Athletics World Championships every step of the way on TV, radio, online and Ceefax.

The Helsinki meeting takes place from Saturday 6 to Sunday 14 August, and UK broadband users will be able to watch all the action live on the BBC Sport website.

From the countdown to all the main events, plus interviews and features, you'll be able to soak up all the atmosphere from Finland as it happens on the BBC.

TELEVISION

BBC One and Two will have comprehensive coverage of the World Championships from 0800 on Saturday.

Sue Barker and Hazel Irivine will be at Helsinki's Olympic Stadium to bring you all the action as it happens.

Steve Cram provides the expert commentary together with Brendan Foster, Paul Dickenson and Stuart Storey.

Five-time Olympic champion Michael Johnson leads a team of pundits that includes 1993 World 110m hurdles hero Colin Jackson and double world triple-jump champion Jonathan Edwards.

INTERACTIVE TV

An interactive service will be on offer to complement the television coverage.

Digital viewers can press the red button during live coverage of the event on BBC One and BBC Two to enter the service.

An extra video stream will offer a highlights loop of the day's action, constantly updated.

Viewers can also access a live medals table and news index within the service.

RADIO

Denise Lewis and Steve Backley lead Five Live's team of expert pundits.

Lewis won heptathlon gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, while Backley took silver at both the 1996 and 2000 Games, as well as the 1995 and 1995 World Championships.

All the key action will be carried on Radio Five Live, with reports throughout the eight days of the championships including updates in the Breakfast programme and in-depth coverage from 1700.

John Inverdale will anchor Five Live's coverage, with Allison Curbishley, Mark Richardson and athletics correspondent John Rawling completing the line-up.

WEBSITE & CEEFAX

The BBC Sport website will be streaming the coverage live on our broadband console - available to all UK users.

We'll also be following all the action as it happens on every day of the meeting, together with all the latest news, results, reports and photo galleries.
